I’m not sure what this says about the PC port. Even Guybrush Threepwood can only manage ten minutes. Probably about 11 hours, I’d imagine, if the download rate remains pretty constant. I’ll put up some thoughts on Final Fantasy XIII‘s PC port whenever it finishes downloading, but at a max speed of around 1.2MB/s, that’s going to take a rather long time.
Okay, yeah, that’s still going to take awhile. Final Fantasy XIII‘s download isn’t actually 59.3 GB, as that’s the amount of hard drive space required once it’s uncompressed! No, I only have to download… We’ve been doing a lot of PC impressions of ports recently, but the Final Fantasy XIII one might take a little time.įinal Fantasy XIII is getting a PC release today, you see, and I was planning on following up some thoughts on Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (which I’m writing up now) with some thoughts on whether Final Fantasy XIII has a decent port, or if it’s basically just the console version clumsily ported to another system. This isn’t exactly going to go at Lightning-speed.
